Again, with the two posts in one day! Somebody stop me.
I just had to share a story about my darling daughter, Ella. Last week I totally spaced that she didn't have school on Tuesday (teacher in-service) and so had to bring her with me to work for a couple of hours. She definitely left her mark in my cubicle, in the forms of new artwork on the wall and cracker crumbles on my floor. But the best part of the morning was when she was perusing my cubicle walls and happened upon this cartoon:

"Mommy," she asked, "why is that baby angry?"
It was really the cutest little thing. And I really didn't know what to say. My answer of, "He's angry because his dad is making him play chess when he just wants to play peek-a-boo" didn't really seem to quench her curiosity. She always keeps me on my toes, that one. (By the way, is that cartoon not the greatest? Thanks to the Funbar for forwarding that one along.)
Soundtrack to this post: "I Believe to My Soul," by Ray Charles. My favorite part is when he sings, "Last night you were dreaming and I heard you say, 'Oh, Johnny," when you know my name is Ray." Such angst!
Alright, gotta run.
Go 'Dores!
love, molly
